For our third assignment in Advanced Multimedia Reporting, I created an explainer package news story with an A-roll, B-roll, and a reporter stand-up, two on-camera interviews, and statistics.
The explainer package used skills we learned with recording video, interviews, and reporter stand-up, editing in Premier Pro, adjusting audio, various short-, mid-, and long-range shots, and implementing statistical graphics.
For this assignment, I interviewed Sean Moran, the Facility Director for War Memorial Hall Gym, and Riley Irmen, a Virginia Tech sophomore who has utilized VT's new facilities. My Story included an anchor with hyperlinks that lead into my explainer package.
